Okay - I don't do these very often - but this was was so intriguing. I have a bit of a pet peeve about bad spelling and grammar - and while I make mistakes myself occasionally I can hardly resist the urge to correct mistakes when I see others make them. I found this quiz at my friend

Very cool quiz, but I must take you to task over your OWN grammar 'goof-up.' In your profile, you wrote, "This is my friend Tina and I." Uh - it should be 'Tina & ME'. This is my friend Tina. This is me. Sorry. It's one of my pet peeves &, under the circumstances, I had to point it out.

ReplyDeleteYou know that is one of the "grammar rules" that never stuck - I know it to be true - but the sentence sounds wrong. I had an elem teacher that drilled it into us evidently the wrong way.
