Great Quote - and Don't Forget to Vote

My friend Tina sent this to me this morning. It was too good not to share. I think it is a life skill I learned very early in life, and while I don't do it perfectly, it is the reason that I am not laying in my bed hiding behind closed curtains like so many other women in my family. God gives me the grace every single day to choose to live!

Attitude is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past- we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have & that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.

  1. Wow, I had a lot to catch up on here this morning. Great stuff! I love the attitude quote. I think that I will read it to my kids every morning (for my sake too) and tell them they can thank a nice lady in Texas!

Awaiting your words......
