Experimentation and Realization

I think I have entered the realm of donating my body to science, while still living. It seems I have decided to see how many days a human being can live off of potato salad alone. In all fairness, I am having homemade peach ice cream later - so that may throw off the results of said experiment.

And I realized that as I get older, I don't really enjoy the fourth of July. It has nothing to do with patriotism or lack thereof - but more about the sheer volume. I love seeing the fireworks, I just wish I didn't have to hear them. I am going to be a nervous wreck by the end of the weekend. It appears the loud, obnoxious holiday observance will be lasting the duration of the 3 day weekend here in Texas.

  1. I don't mind the sound of fireworks - actually I enjoy it, but I hate potato salad.
Don't know if I want a three column template - what I really want is for the blog part to be wider to accommodate pictures a little better.
In my more motivated days I experimented a little but found that what looked fine in Mozilla looked horrible in Explorer. Anyway, I can look at yours and play around - I may be able to just right click and view the page source. Mostly if you could just send me some motivation that would be great. And I'll save you my potato salad for when you come back :)

  2. LOL!
My guys are out lighting off fireworks as we speak :)

I didn't go last night because I'm not up to it :(

  3. The fireworks start up around June 1st here and I'll be lucky if they stop by July 15th. And it was just so special that someone in my neighborhood decided midnight was the perfect time to start shooting off M80's on Friday AND Saturday night. Fireworks are illegal in Illinois.....what do these cops do in this town?

For what it's worth, I feel your pain : )
