The Waiting Game

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for yesterday. It has felt like an eternity. I was to go to the GYN's office and get the results of my multiple tests. I am sure they don't have electricity nor a staff at the office to answer the phone. Phone calls don't even transfer to their answering service. Life is dramatically different than it was just those few short weeks ago. Most of my symptoms are still there - some are slightly worse and some are slightly better for reasons I know but can't explain. I just want to know what's going on one way or the other.
But Hurricane Ike changed things.
So I wait.

  1. Waiting is not easy--especially when you're waiting on something like this, but if there's no power over there, I guess there's nothing you can do. Am praying for the Lord to intercede for you and speed things along. Hang in there! He is the only one who is ultimately in control, anyway.

  2. Ugggh. I know how much waiting sucks. Just waiting til yesteday was, I'm sure, hard enough. But to have to wait longer really stinks. Praying you get some real answers when you do reach them.

And I did a double take. I read on many infertility boards and I misread it as "get the results of my multiples test..." :)

One day at a time Jewls. Our lives are returning to normal and yours will too.
