I don't make "resolutions" per se. I do like a fresh start at something though, and the new year seems a perfect opportunity to invest yourself in something new. I have a serious writing project that I was going to plunge myself into after the new year, and I haven't written at all.

Stress really takes all creative energy out of you.
fresh starts are good. You have 50 fresh weeks left in 08 to write your heart out. Think of the first two weeks as being the planning stage.

If there's any author I'm gonna read it will be the great and powerful Julie! Writing comes natural to you, so I agree with Joanne, you don't have to rush right into it just because of the calendar date. Plan. Pray. Write. You'll do great! I believe in you! (and love ya too!)
