Give that kid a milkshake! That's what kids that age are supposed to drink. Well, back in my day anyway. I think we have a new generation with their own tastes. My almost 10 year old would probably beg for a frappuccino.
My boys love the strawberries and creme frapuccino. I never should've let them get their own that one time... but it was when I got over $100 in gift cards to Starbucks for Christmas one year. It was almost raining giftcards!
So what's a momma to do when she drags her boys into every Starbucks she passes for like two months?! (and yes, it only lasted me two months-- can you believe that?!) I now occasionally treat them to a .99 cent hot chocolate. It's about budgeting, right? If they want the fancy frapuccino, they can bring their own money.
Cute pic. My 11 year old loves fancy drinks like that. I don't remember this kind of thing being a part of our lives at this age- i think the big treat was a milkshake. Those frappucinos are so yummy though- and that is coming from a non coffee drinking gal!
From ME!!!! Seriously, I had so much fun the other day. I took Nick, Carly, Luke and Tim to Starbucks. It was a blast watching them order and suck it down. We are in a new world way of living and I say Hot Damn!!!
